Since you asked, I did search to explain the meaning of MOPAR. It's exactly as I thought but I did not have to type it out. "As far as I know, sometime in the 1930's to early 1940's Chrysler Corporation looked into consolidating the parts divisions of all their brands -- Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, DeSoto, Imperial etc. -- into one division. Thus the Chrysler Corporation Mopar (MOtor PARts) division was created. Parts used on ANY of the brands came in boxes branded with the Chrysler MOtor PARts logo. Hence, over time, Mopar became a synonymous term to use to talk about any of the Chrysler Corporation vehicles: "IT'S A MOPAR!" My search also found this. #1 Master Of Performance And Reliability #2 Massively Over-Powered And Respected #3 Mainly Old Parts And Rust #4 Made Of Pride And Respect #5 Measured On Pure Adrenaline Rush #6 MOtor PARts - Chrysler #7 Move Over Pontiacs And Racers #8 Magic Of Precision And Research #9 Muscle Of Powerful Acceleration Records Charlie Valentine ----- Original Message ----- From: "Frank Bakanau" <FBAKANAU@xxxx> To: "chrysler" <chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2003 3:48 PM Subject: [Chrysler300] Filament of my imagination > Yes, the car is now 12v.
