Second bird: re: distributors Gerry Steinberg writes: Hi John: Chuck Hill did my distributor about 11-12 years ago. He kept the tach drive and of course the vacuum advance. Nice not to have to fuss with points. I spoke to him about a month ago and he is willing to do the same for anybody. His e-mail is: mochuckpar@xxxx Phone: 775/265-0548, in Gardnerville, Nevada, near Reno. Good luck and stay warm..... Gerry also, Larri Stumpf on same topic: Hi John and all, I too put mopar electronlc guts into a tach drive ditributor years ago on a dual ghia I did. It was surprisingly easy as the pickup plate bolted right in where the point plate used to and the shafts interchanged. All I had to do was drill a hole in the shaft to accept the rollpin that secures the gear that drives the tach. This was over 10 years ago and my memory isnt what it used to be but I think thats it. mopar to ya...larri
