They had different exhaust manifolds(I believe from Dodge trucks) and a higher compression ratio to accomplish increased HP). Cam may have been different but I do not believe so. Chrysler also had a wider steel wheel for racing but I do not think that it was a 355 hp feature only. I know of no way to tell difference on cars except for change in exhaust manifold. 355 manifolds had 4 bolt connection to exhaust head pipe. Comments or corrections are invited from other members.
