Hi to all,

I guess an e-mail to the group is in order, explaining why I might not be
responding to some e-mails promptly, or even at all. I have rec'd quite a
few queries to that effect.

Back in early September, I embarked on a new career - as an employee of
Suffolk County, L.I. , NY, as a Probation Officer. I now work a full-time
job, and have to commute to work as well.. which means that I simply do not
have the time to devote to e-mail that I once had. Or, for that matter, to
restore cars...

Over the past three months, I have done my best to keep up with the flow of
questions and notes from friends on the list. My best is no longer good
enough - I can't keep up as I once did. I have had to curtail chit-chat, and
unecessary e-mails. Sometimes, if I don't respond ASAP, the e-mail gets
buried... I now have a pile of about 400 e-mails I should have responded
to...

So, all this to say, if some of you don't get an instant response, or maybe
even get no response at all : don't take it personal, I am sorry, just
doing the best I can...
