The reference to cavitation triggered a memory (remember them....guess not!). If the water pump has been changed, I've seen where either the impeller wasn't the right size (rebuilt with wrong parts or wrong pump), or the timing chain cover was hogged out by a worn pump not changed soon enough. In either case, there is too much room between the impeller and chamber it works in, and the water cavitates at high RPM's. Get those vacations planned around the 2003 meet dates: June 11-15, 2003.
