Hello friends: First of all, Happy Holidays. Also, to Wayne Graefen, I wish you speedy recovery and hope that you have lots of energy and keep up your enthusiasm. Now, I need help: I have a 300J which I just purchased. The car was delivered and it started right up. I drove it three times since, and the third time it took a while to start and I pumped the pedal a few times. It was about 55 degrees out there. I tried to start it two days ago, and it was impossible. I changed the spark plugs (they were black), but it did not do anything. My friend came by and he cleaned the points and pulled the gas tubes going from the fuel filter to the carbs and he did a little cleaning. He said the fuel pump worked well and the filter was clean and unclogged. We poured fuel in both carbs, and after a few attempts a lots of gas, the car started. We sprayed cleaned the carbs. That day I started it a couple of times. The battery is brand new. Today.... surprise! It does not want to start! Pump the gas, crank it, pull the choke, try all those things, and nothing. What could be the problem? I am a bit confused. Help, help, help. Any hints or ideas you folks could give me I would really appreciate them (you can tell I my knowledge about mechanics needs improvement). I am open to any advise I can get. Thank you all in advance!! Dee [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
