1957 Chrysler 300 C

Does anyone have sugestions on how to go about cleaning the fuel tank on a C 
that has been sitting for 20 years. How does the fuel tank filler tube 
connect to the tank? If I break that seal, is there a source for a new one? 
Is the fitting on the bottom of the tank a drain? Does that fitting come 
out with an allen wrench? Any help is appreciated Vince
