RE: [Chrysler300] California Show Report

Jay Leno...nice, nice man. I was at a show and standing near a "G" that
he was admiring. Some busybody wanted to impress him and started
telling him that it was an original 440 motor. I interrupted and said
that it was a 413, if original. When the guy started to argue, Jay said
"I believe the Lil' Lady is correct" in the politest voice while
pointing to the sign in front of the car showing the engine specs. I
was under the distinct impression he knew the motor size as well as I
did, but too polite to refute the guy, but liked that I did. He said
really loves the letter cars.

Jay Leno. That rings a bell when you say he was looking over a GTX. I
was
at the Mopar Spring Fling at Woodly Park in So. cal a few years ago. My

brother entered his fresh ground up resto on a 65 Dodge black 2 dr.
post.
Leno came up at a brisk walk and left just as quick with his brief case.
I
jokingly said to my brother that it was probably full of cash? Maybe a
check book.
It was obvious that he was on a hunt for the best that interested him
and
ready to pay. Isn't it ironic how most of us sweet, grunt, strain, maybe
a
little swearing to get our cars looking nice. To get a concourse car for

Leno the only sweet he sees is when he flips the latches on his brief
case. Oh well, I would not have it any other way.
Oh! To keep this within the list serve rules, my C sure is moving along
slowly. If I only had Leno's brief case.
