Hello.
Would anyone know the duration on the camshaft that is used on a 300-G
413 engine and the duration on a stock 413 camshaft. >>

The 300F and 300G standard camshafts have 268 degrees duration
(seat-to-seat, or so-called "advertised duration") on both intake and
exhaust. Duration at 0.050" lift is 208 degrees. Cam lobe center angle (LCA)
is 110 degrees, and cam should be installed 4 degrees RETARDED (somewhat
unusual) for an installed intake centerline of 114 degrees. Total valve lift
(theoretical) is 0.430", with stock 1.5 ratio rockers. Cam timing (installed
as above) will be 20/68/60/28. Overlap (though nobody uses this term anymore)
is 48 degrees.

300F'ly,

Roger Karlson
