300G mirror disassembly procedures

Dear membership,
I received several requests to post the 300G mirror disassembly methods on the list. I have attached the procedures I followed to this message for those who may need to take one of these things apart someday. Many thanks to all of you who helped...I've had the G since 1980, and thought I had removed every nut and bolt at least once...but until now it wasn't necessary to take the mirror completely apart, and the service manual is silent on the subject.
