Hello to Everyone, I have a fluid leak from my 61G transmission. The leak is coming from the Control Cable. The seal is in place where the cable enters the transmission housing and cable is properly installed according to the service manual. My mechanic tells me that fluid is getting inside the cable and leaking from a small hole on the outside cover of the cable, about 3-4 inches from the transmission. My question, is there suppose to be fluid inside the cable or is there suppose to be a seal at the end of the cable to prevent any transmission fluid from getting inside the cable? Which is correct? Thanks! Paul [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos.
