Here in Switzerland it doesn't work either...and we're just 5 miles from the
French border!!!!!

I've periodically had difficulties doing so in the past. Suspect 
it's because of heavy Inet traffic from Europe/France (or Bush is 
intentionally slowing Inet traffic down in retaliation against 
France ;-)
   
Every page I downloaded was written in French.
