[Chrysler300] re Goers reproduction side medallions

    I was down at Gary Goers just over a week ago to pick up some of my
stuff for my 62 300H convertible and I noted that Gary has a large
quantity of the reproduction side medallions for the 1957 to 1962 300
cars in stock.  Now these are beautiful accurate duplicates of the
originals made from a steel injection mould. The quality of these
medallions is superb and will not be matched by other inexpensive
methods.  I know that Gary has invested a lot of money to get these
moulds done and I think that we should support him with that rather than
running "off shore" with unknown reproductions.
    Due to all of the spam problems that Gary has been experiencing and
still is (believe me as I saw it), is to write to him and quote part
#542 which are priced at $60 for this medallion. I would also suggest
getting his latest catalog #9 which is normally priced at $4.00 so that
you can see  the items that you need.  For his mailing address, simply

    I did spend several hours at his shop and I must tell you that he
puts in very long hours pretty well 7 days a week to get our stuff done
for our cars.  In case you were not aware of this, Gary had been a
batchelor for many years after a marriage break down many years ago when
he still lived in California (before move to Kalispell Montana) but
things are looking better for him as he's had a lovely lady living with
him for the past couple years and so things are looking better and more
normal for him.
    I know that it has been very difficult in reaching him either via
email (which has been hit and miss due to all the spam that he was/is
getting)  and impossible to reach him on the telephone as he simply
doesn't have the man/woman power at this time to handle the phone. So
again, the mail is still the best way to deal with orders, etc from him
as he does take the time to tackle those.
    Sorry for rambling on so long but I am grateful that we have Gary
available to do our reproduction parts so please let's support him not
only with the parts which are non available elsewhere but also the seat
interiors, etc that he does such an excellent job in making.
