In order to haul a 65 Fury 111 several hundred miles, I borrowed a 3/4 ton 
Ford from one of my customers in the rental truck business.  He had no tiltup 
trailers so I went to rent one at a competitor.  The local business would not, 
at first, rent me a trailer because the Ford had not a Class Something or Other 
hitch, just the standard bumper mounted H.D hitch.  This started a selling 
contest between the rental businesses.  The Truck Guys have been in business for 
50 years and had never had a problem with that type of hitch.  The Other Guys 
were sure that the Truck Guys were not safety conscious enough.  Old Timers 
finally won the debate and I left for San Luis Osbisbo for the Fury.  First 
time ever hauling a trailer and all went well until it started raining.  The most 
scared I have ever been was when the trailer and Fury started to fishtail in 
a turn on the way home.  On the other hand, a few months ago I drove to 
Hollywood and picked up a 1948 Chrysler and towed it home on a tow dolly behind my 
wife's Toyota Highlander with not much drama at all.  hopefully the Towgod will 
watch over us simpletons when we do wrong.
