Always keep in mind the hitch weight is  10% of the total. Also the ball height should be from 1 to 2 inches high in front.  Having towed Airstreams this was always the norm.

Also not brought into this thread is the tow trucks hitch. This is an
important issue. Many are "kinda" bolted on and it's a pain to drill the
add'l holes, so they never get drilled.
