While I was having the machine shop working on the Heel Pad Frames I had him look into reproducing the garnish on my dash board. For those of you that don't know what I am talking about it is the aluminum trim behind the headlight switch , ignition switch, radio and is matched by the face of the clock. It has lettering such as "lights" Etc. Mine was scratched especially around the ignition switch. I was lucky enough to find probably the last NOS pieces in existance and it made a real difference. The only problem is installation since you have to take everything apart to be able to change it out. I want to get a feel for how many of you may be interested. Due to the complicated process of etching and printing they won't be cheap. I paid $550 for my set and probably only those of you with "show quality" cars would be interested. If the price can be around what I paid should I go any further? I will be also looking into having the aluminum door sills reproduced.
