Hi Mike: Way back when I did my ram K engine, I supplied the Chrysler camshaft drawing to a guy in Elizabethton, TN, by the name of Jim Hyder at Camcraft, Inc. Phone at that time was 615-542-2175. That was so long ago, I have no idea if he is still in business. Perhaps some Club member in that area will know. He reground my original, If I remember correctly. I was, and still am very satisfied. I am sure there are many shops that could give you an original grind from the Chrysler specs, now. Regrinding works because material is also removed from the "base circle", ie, the area opposite the lobe, too. Thus the same difference between the radius of the base circle and the height of the lobe (the lift) is maintained. The lash adjustment then accomodates the new cam lobe dimensions. If you want the original specifications for you cam, I would be happy to supply them to you. 300ly, Gil [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
