RE: [Chrysler300] 300K fuel pump

George, Assuming that your K is the same as my H, your fuel pump is operated
by a short push rod that is driven by the cam shaft. When you remove the
fuel pump, the push rod can fall into the oil pan! I know this from
experience! Retrieving it from the oil pan is a frustrating, time consuming
job! A trick to keep the push rod in place while installing the new pump is
to coat the push rod with grease prior to reinstalling it. Doug Warrener,

Hi, All,

Are there any tricks to replacing a fuel pump? Anything to look out for or
avoid? Or is it as easy as it looks?

Thanks,

George Clineman
