Re: [Chrysler300] C300



I powder coated mine on the B along with the air cleaner, brake booster,
fan, fan shroud,  pulleys etc.  It is almost impossible to pull the valve
covers for adjusting valves without scratching regular paint.  Powder
coating is much tougher and is not subject to damage from chemicals, oils,
and minor scratching.

The color appears close enough for government work(in fact I have never
heard any complaints by any 300 owners and in fact I doubt that Chrysler
used the same color on all their valve covers, so what color is correct is
subject to various opinions.
