Their polyurethane motor and trans mounts sound particularly appealing for high performance applications in our cars. Their parts are not JUST for Imperials. I just want the group to know what kind of experience I had with Kevin Adams on parts that I purchased from him. The parts that I ordered from him for my 300k conv. were in perfect condition. I was surprised to get those quality of parts from a total stranger. When we talked he was understating the condition of the parts that I was getting and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the shipping box. I also want to say that the shipping container was professional prepared and that nothing came broken or bent. I also have had at three or four conversations with Kevin and had no problem reaching him on the phone numbers that he gave me. I also sent him a check plus postage for the parts, and I did get them a week later. I must say that my experience with Kevin was positive and I am ordering other parts for my car from him. I find him to be a good source of information and parts for my 300k. I wanted the other club members to hear a positive experience with Kevin. We all know that we can not please everyone. If anyone would like to contact me personally , this is my email Mlit1964@xxxxxxxxxx [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 3 Date: Tue, 22 Jul 2003 20:02:26 -0400 From: John Hertog <crossram@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Bridgehampton Road Rally - Long Island NY - open to early 300's Hi to all, This year, for the first time, the Bridgehampton Road Rally committee has expanded the eligibility requirements to include sports cars built in or before 1959. Therefore, if you own a C-300 , 300B, 300C, 300D, or 300E, you can run in the Rally ! Now in its 11th year, the Bridgehampton Rally has grown increasingly competitive. It is a time and distance event. The course uses public roads complete with local traffic. Timing on each leg of the course is done to the 10th of each second. And often a few 10ths will decide the winner of a timing leg! Entrants must be skilled in driving, map reading and timekeeping to compete There is a lot more information on the Rally's web site, at: http://www.bridgehamptonrally.org/ Unfortunately, I do not own a pre-60 Chrysler 300; therefore John Doyle and I, who both own 300G's, have run the Rally in previous years in a '31 Model A Ford... and we have always had a great time. There are fantastic cars entered every year (see pictures of previous Rallys on the Web site noted above) . This year, Burt Levy (author of "The Last Open Road" - a great book I recommend to anyone) will be driving in the Rally AND entertaining participants afterwards. This is a well-organized and fun event. If you own an eligible 300, and would like to participate, please e-mail me directly, or fill out the application on the Rally's site and send it in. I'd love to see a 300 run in the Rally this year... There are only 40 entrants to be chosen among the applicants, so please contact me soon... Sincerely, John Hertog Sag Harbor NY ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 4 Date: Tue, 22 Jul 2003 21:01:55 EDT From: MJMLandDev@xxxxxxx Subject: (no subject) Does anyone have an email address for Fredric Templer in Cedar Rapids, IA? Is the instruction that one ought to remove the washer originally found on the new spark plugs? When looking at an old (original ?) one it has no washer, but then again if comparing the overall length from seating to the top electrode it measures; 0,04" shorter if washer is kept on a new plug and 0,04" LONGER if the washer is cut away. Have I misunderstood the intention if removing the washers, and will there be any risk for close contact while measuring length longer than compared to an old spark plug (new and old spark plug are different brands) Grateful for some good advice on this, Ulf Larsson, 3N57 2660 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Your use of Yahoo!
