Specifically, the brackets for mounting the a/c condenser/receiver/dryer in front of the radiator onto the core support. This unit was in the trunk of the car when I bought it, so I have only just found out that it's mounting hardware is missing. I'm sure there are other things missing as well (like sight glass and it's mounting pieces) that I just haven't totally figured out yet. Any help appreciated. Good afternoon, Here in the Midwest (Columbus, OH to be specific). The Anti-Restoration Completion League (ARCL)is operating in full force. This is an organization which cares little for the mental well being of those trying to finish their pride and joy. As some of you are aware, I have owned a G for about 3 years. During my time of ownership, I put less than 100 miles on the car and it has been disassembled for most of this time. Now, the car is back from the bodyshop and the re-assembly process has slowly begun. The ARCL has come to light in the following forms. Broken chrome pieces at the platers, wrong parts shipped, broken beer fridge, over 20,000 miles in the last 30 days spent on 757's and MD-80's (with more coming on tonight) and finally, while out of town last week, my wife bought another house! This of course necessitates the sale of the current house. It is unlikely that the car will make it to the Michigan meet this year which leads to the point of this dissertation. I, however, will try to make it. I would like to put a Limited Slip differential in the car (currently it is open). Should anyone be going to the Spring Meet that has an early 3:23 limited Slip pumpkin for sale, please let me know. Also, I would like the correct axle shafts to go with this. Please contact me privately if you can help. Best regards, Richard Osborne ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 3 Date: Mon, 21 Apr 2003 14:20:53 -0700 From: G Barker <gbarker@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Rear Hubs Part 3 Hi Frank, I don't know if you got your hubs off yet. I went through the same as you. Finally I jacked my 55 up as high as I could from the side. I thought it was going to turn over. I did that to help the WD 40 to run down along the key way. Then put the hub puller on and tighten it up with the hammer. It sat that way for two days. Every time I would walk bu I would give it a squirt of WD and hit the puller with the hammer. After two days I came out in the morning it was off. I didn't even get to hear it pop. I modified the MOAP (Mother Of All Pullers) to use the hydraulic cylinder from my engine hoist. That way I would be using a direct linear pull instead of defeating myself with a screw that gets harder to turn. The cylinder is rated 8 tons. It may take 8.001 tons, because they are still on. I am going to re-think this whole exercise for a while. In the meantime, I just received my repro tail light lenses from George in Australia. They are beautiful. If anyone is looking for replacement lenses, I can highly recommend these.
