Majority rules, the E-gets to keep its undercoat . Many thanks for all
who offered their help . When I first began this project Bruce Naimy
suggested that I join this club. It has been the best 20 bucks ,( About
two thousand Canadian ) I have ever spent. I have found that all of you
people wear your hearts on your sleeve when it comes to helping your
fellow members, what a pleasant departure from our regular everyday way of
life . Thanks again.
Now problems two and three . (2) where do I go to get a new bellows for
my power brakes ?. (3) where do I get the paint for the dry blood look on
the grill of my 300 . I have asked my wife and family to cut their wrists
to enable me to do the paint job.. no takers, so I must buy the paint .

regards
Ben Meisner

Hi Ben:

I currently have my oval can Bendix type booster in at Karps Brake
Rebuilding in Upland:

Karp's Power Brake Service

	Attn: Jeff

	66 N. Central Ave.

	Upland, Ca.

	91786

Phone (909) 985-0800

http://www.resleeve.com/

I pulled the booster and pedal assembly out of a '60 Imperial at the junk
yard and am installing them in my '62 300 "Sport" so I can run the "J"
rams and exhaust that I bought from John Hertog. He is rebuilding it and
powder coating it at the same time.

Anyway, Jeff at Karps is a great guy and does beautiful and reasonably
priced work. I would recommend having him rebuild it for you. He has
shelves and shelves of all types of boosters. He also does resleeving
services. Check out his website.

Last week I advertised my 300C for sale on the web server, and I want to
thank all of you who indicated an interest in it. I advertised the car
on-line with Hemmings magazine and had a buyer in less than an hour. I was
amazed to see the interest. Thanks to all of you.

300 C's should not have a fan clutch, they came later. The radiator should
be
checked at a radiator shop and cleaned and rodded out if necessary. That
is
the first start, then on to the engine, checking for rust in the passages.

That seems a bit strange, me thinks I read somewhere that they
came that way from the factory along with the A/C radiator even
if the car didnt have A/C, thats the way my white one was when I
bought it in 1970 at least. It had a factory fan clutch.

Quentin

I think you are wrong. 300C did come with fan clutch. w/ or w/o air. Mine
did w/o air. I have also seen others.

The silentflite fan clutch was standard on all 300Cs, whether equipped
with
air conditioning or not. Air conditioned 300Cs also got the fan shroud.

Subject: 66-68 Budd Discbrake Rotors - partnumber ??

Hi all,
Can anyone provide me with the partnumber for the DiscBrake Rotors used
by Chrysler in '66-'68 made by Budd?

I'm looking at the possibility of having "replacement" rotors made for
this system. Mabe not exact replacements, but at least provide an
usable solution when the old rotors are worn thin.
As everyone might know, the original rotors are as easy to find as like
finding Horsepower in a stock Chevy-engine... lol.

Thanks and best regards,

I don't know about 66 Budd disc brake rotors, but I've found plenty of
horsepower in stock Chevy engines,eg, stock LS-7 crate motor in my 71 Nova
dynoed at 500+ hp. Good luck in your search.
