Any tips on installation would also be greatly appreciated........do you have to seperate the outer skin? Thanks for the help. Owen Hi Owen - I believe that Bob Merritt sells rolls of the material in question, or at least material that is as close as you can get. If you cut out your existing panels at a 45 degree angle with a box cutter or similar blade, so that the bevel cut extends under the metal bracing, you can use the cut out panels as templates, and glue in the replacements with GM adhesive. These panels were not painted, per se, but did receive ovrspray when the inside of the decklid was painted, so if you act accordingly, you should come up with a fairly correct result, or at least one that will appear so. I believe that the treatment of this area was diverse enough, that you cannot be "wrong" if you use the correct material. Will you have to modify and fill in or cut one or the other? I may be buying a 61 and the previous owner put 1960 tail lights in place of the 1961 back-up lights. Thank you all in advance for any help that you may give.
