(Dad suspects he used the wrong fluid, but I'm not going to make him feel any worse) Anyone know of a working 68-82 timeframe big block 727 ready to try and use??? We are in Indiana and he is willing to drive 4-6 hours out from the Indy area. (maybe a little farther) His main problem is trying to pay his way through college makes for somewhat limited funds, living on champus has helped while his 70 Newport lies dead. Has anyone had this problem???... On my '62 NY wagon I ordered new leaf springs through the club and had them installed locally. The front spring bushing seems to have an insane squeak! I can push up & down on the rear door & the think will make all sorts of noise. I know that the bushings are not meant to be serviced, so how do I shut them up? I plan to order more for the '62 300 & want to know that I can cure one '62 before fixin' the other one. Thanks! Also, if you loose one of the alignment dowls between the engine & trans the pump will go out & trash the rest of things. Plastics Plating in Mission, B.C. His name is Chuck VanderByl and he can be reached at 604-820-9571. I don't have his email address but I will contact him on Monday and see what it is. I've had Chuck do the arm rests on several of my chryslers and he did a superb job plus his prices are a lot better than what Mr. G's charges and that was even before the devaluation of the Canadian dollar. His turn around was also great which was only a few days. He uses a vacuum plating process and has been doing for several years now. Also with the devaluation of our Canadian dollar, you may find that it is to your advantage to get your chroming done out here as in Canada we use one more step in chrome plating to bumpers, etc which is no longer used in the USA. You could contact Mike at Classic Auto Parts in Hayden Lake Idaho. His phone number is 208-762-8080 and his email address is waller2@xxxxxxx He comes to BC about twice a month with stuff to get chromed and a full load of rechromed stuff to take home.
