Yes, it was stunning. I saw it in partly cloudy conditions and when I first saw it, thought it was pale green. The video in full sun shows it as gold. Don’t know how they do that.
All the chrome/trim was perfect which impressed me most. Interior was beige leather which was obviously redone but looked like what I imagine was the original pattern.
Would have cost a fortune to do this car but I would have liked a standard colour more. To each his own!
We went down to the Gold Coast yesterday for the big Cooly Rocks On 4-day car festival but sadly only 2 Exner Mopars, a 59 Desoto Fireflite and a 61 Imperial. It’s just the way it is here in Australia…thin on the ground. The Imperial was immaculate but had a custom gold/green paint which looked good but not a stock colour to match the rest of the otherwise original car. Not sure I understand ”photos” there is no possible way for me to get to Asheville no matter how much I really want to.
The fuel prices to trailer my 300H out there would put me in the poorhouse, so will probably sit this year (at least) out by just do local meets in and around southern Oregon, entered the car at Memorial/Azalea festival with 170 cars showing up, my ”H” took home 1st place at original 1960 to 1966, so pretty happy about that.
Most enthusiasts out here have not seen these cars before. So yea!
