I have an old timer here just south of town that can completely remake your heater core from scratch provided your header tanks and steel mounting flange are still good. He has a company back east that will cut out a core to size from like a much larger piece-
all new and copper/ brass like original.
He's kind of a cash outfit but he does amazing work- never had one issue and hes done several of mine and for my buddies over the years. Lamb radiator down in Los Lunas NM. Call him at 505-865-5772. Nice old guy been doing radiators for a million years.
Let me know if you want to go that route- i could take it down to him for you if he won't ship it to you ( ive always brought him stuff).
I also have an extra core i had him make up for my 65 imperial since those are unobtanium.
Also try that Auto AC Solutions online out of Texas. They may have one on the shelf.
