Re: {Chrysler 300} 300-F Spark Plug Wires

Don't count on any packaged wires except Lectric Limited to actually fit properly, despite what is advertised.  Even for single 4bbl cars.  For 413s they always use 440 wire sets which are way too long, as wire routing was completely different on the late 60s and up cars.  Like Don Petty, I gave up years ago and started making my own wires; it's not difficult, just get a real good professional crimper.  There is no excuse for properly made wires to come apart, especially with the high price tags on Lectric Limited sets.  And incidentally, for J and Ram K there are NO correct pre-made sets; you must make your own if you want concours correct.  The original factory wire was the Max-Wedge style reddish brown; the closest currently available in 7mm is orange.  I ordered my supplies from Ton's.

Thanks for all responses.  NAPA actually has a set that specifically calls
out RAM cars.  Ordered and we'll see.  Will get back with Lectric when dust
settles.
