As I recall there should be a clip that inserts into the square hole on the pump tha secured then bottom of the bag.

So does the washer bag hang only from the top bracket, or was there some kind of lower bracket? Nothing showing up in the parts book.

I ask as the lower brass ferrule has some abrasions on it, so seems to have been secured at some time.

Again, the original pump was replaced with a cheap plastic pump in the past. I just installed a replacement style pump. Now the reservoir ferrule is positioned right over the new pump.
