Well, It has been seven months since my open chest heart surgery and then my stroke. Other then a little problem with words, particularly spelling, I am doing ok. My heart still does
not want to settle down on the blood pressure front, but not too bad. On the car. It is finally done except for a few items like the glove box and a few trim clips on the console. The upholstery is done ad I am driving it around. I would like to get some up rated 1.01 front torsion bars (Ram) at some point as well. But they are hard to find. Over the next six months or so, I need the trans rebuilt the steering rebuilt but it is not bad; just not optimum at present. It has taken over the daily driving chores from my
1947 Desoto Suburban that I have used over the last 20 years. We go 80 miles from San Francisco to our out-of-town home every couple of weeks and it is a lot easier to drive. This year we are doing a remodel of the ground floor in our out-of-town house, so I road trip of out. Perhaps next spring we can make a meet. I will report back from time to time to let you all know how I am doing and the car is doing.
