{Chrysler 300} 1965 300L 4-speed shifter rebuild advice or suggestions

Pictures show the condition. YouTube doesn’t show any pre-66 videos that I found. The Shift Doctor is at $400 to rebuild it with all new parts, I assume. He mentioned the long arm reverse lever 2336 are prone to cracks and he has no replacements. I visually didn’t see any breaks/cracks but it’s not disassembled.

What experience or knowledge can you please share with me.
