I well remember seeing the Sturdevant Hemi-powered Power Wagon at Elkhart Lake races in the 60s. It was impressive. I probably have a photo of it around her somewhere. Sturdevant told me he supplied the FIRST torque wrenches to Ferrari and Maserati in the early 1950s. Before that time, they had just used a mechanic's "feel" (pull until a certain vein on your arm bulged). He was at the factory, saw that, and told them he would send torque wrenches to them as a gift.
