Re: {Chrysler 300} 1961 Chrysler Dealer film

Love my G convertible.  Crossrams, fins, and the top goes down.  It really would have been the pinnacle if Chrysler had introduced the aluminum torque flite a year earlier, and put the J engine in two years earlier, or the K 4-speed in three years earlier, along with the brakes from 63/64.  Maybe even put it on the 122" Newport instead of the 126" New Yorker for better HP to weight ratio?  Anyone ever build one that way?  Doesn't sound too hard on paper, but I'm not about to start that project as a 70 year old. ;-)
My favorite Lionel engine on my toy train set up is a Pennsylvania GG1 !

If anyone is interested in talking about Chryslers instead of trains for a change, I came across this little gem today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ixz0BaJK3gk

Looks like a 300G would be the pinnacle of the 300 evolution???  Obviously, opinions will vary but if I had a lazy $6000 in 1961, I’d be tempted by this film to visit my local Chrysler dealer.

NB:  Visited the impressive train museum near Lancaster PA as part of the Club meet I attended.  An eye opener for me.  Really liked the old ones with the big cow catchers that I’d only seen in old Western movies.

Cheers
