We were in the Cheyenne rail yard when 4014 was towed in from Pomona Ca. The rebuilding of this engine was quite impressive. Cheyenne's UP  steam shop is well worth a visit. There are a few internationally known engines stored in their roundhouse.

Wore  out those  steel wheels regularly too , had to weigh a  million pounds to get traction for unbelievable hp it made   
Today takes like 8 max power diesels. Steam locomotives are unbelievable , especially this one
