John, The best source I’ve used recently is eBay. Not hard to find new old stock corbin clamps there in various sizes. You will have to be careful to get the right size, and that can be a bit challenging to get it right. Another possibility is Ace hardware stores, not sure of origin on those. Bob J From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of John Nowosacki Does anyone have a good recommendation for made in USA Corbin clamps for radiator hoses and such? It seems the newer versions of the 'worm type' screw style clamps aren't what they used to be and either 'skip' if tightened the least bit too much, or somehow loosen or stretch over time (or maybe it's just me?) I've heard some bad stories about modern Corbin clamps made of chinesium not being the right size or strength and how they sometimes snap rather than spring when installing them? I have a local junkyard with many old cars in it. Thought about scavenging under hoods to see if there are any good oldies there I can grab. -- -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
