
Even nylon fails , why stock one is gone it was nylon . You can buy brass oilite bushings , probably .25 + ID for that check od too , then a thin washer on each side so it is like a spool . Another way is make one like top hat of brass or aluminum if you have a machine shop friend , once set up easy to make it ? a good project for club reproduction , make 50 -75? of them every 300 needs this , and you often see cobbled up repairs or rubber grommets.
