No, it appears they did not. In the engineering documents for the 300-F Gran Turismo Program that Jim Bartuska found in 1998, there is a notation in a parts list for “Camshaft Sprocket - Part No. 1737622, standard “B” engine” This is the only place I have ever seen a reference to it, and it would be the same for 300-G/GT.
