Since you are adding EFI and all your other stuff why use an RV2? Its in the way of everything and as strong, heavy and efficient as one of Walters locomotives. Put a Sanden on there and you may see your thermostat housing again!

Why not drill a hole in the water pump you have ... on the car?

Thanks…I am sick and tired of the TRW pumps, and I am thinking of trying to use a brand-new Saginaw.  Borgeson makes on and uses a spacer between the bracket and the pump housing. I can make up new ones if need be, for alignment.

In the next month or so, I plan on tearing down the front of the engine (again, I just did it 2 years back) not because anything is wrong, but I need the later 1960’s water pump housing that has the second port for a temperature sender. I plan on EFI at some point, so it needs that. I am sticking with the RV2 A/C so getting everything to work is a little bit of a pain.

Best, James

About 3/4" difference in diameters. Assuming the Chrysler federal pump is used for either scenario. I have also found the pulley offset from the hub is slightly different too.

Anyone know off hand what the differences are in the pulley for the power steering pump on the A/C vs non-A/C cars?

Thanks, James
