Hi All, Murray sent me a seat mechanism for the passenger side of my 300K. It had a mechanical passenger seat. He also included the wiring harness. What I want to know is the wire routing on the passenger side. The drivers side tied into the electrical system at a can breaker on the drivers side kick panel. It then ran down
the wire case to the left of the drivers seat and then took the first sheet metal cut out toward the rear of the seat. It had a factory metal-rubber wire clamp in the floor pan then went under the seat to the near the front and then one of those plastic wire
claps (tapped to the wire) and screwed to the floor pan with the ground wire under is as well. The “memory” of the wire seems to suggest that it runs roughly parallel to the seat back over the hump. The only problem with that is that it is not long enough to duplicate the
path under the front seat. I can connect it ok, but the connections and wires will be toward the rear. On Bob video he shows the connect, carpet hiding the wires, at the front. So, I am wondering what I have wrong. If anyone has some photos of a 1964 that has both bucket seat with electric adjust seats and shows the wires on the floor pan that would help a lot.
