I picked up a Facet Cube pump to replace a leaking one and installed it on my G.  In the remarks it states "This pump has a built-in check valve to ensure that fuel can only flow in one direction".

Hey just a thought. Thinking of installing an inline electric fuel pump to avoid cranking forever when the car has sat for a while. Was thinking ,why not put a check valve inline between the mechanical pump and carb? Thoughts? Any reason this wouldn’t work?
