 I did use Koch https://www.kochssteeringwheels.com/ to do our 1955 Imperial Newport wheel and they were fast and very reasonable.  With that said you must understand that some wheels don't have a chrome rim with clear over them.  This was a simple repair damage and paint accordingly.  I did provide the light color for the grips to them and they did the black.  They would be my go to source for most applications and I'm told I have the reputation for being "picky".  Oh and don't let the Volkswagen part of them scare you off which I suspect is where they started and are still a major supplier for VW restoration to this day.  A photo is included of our finished wheel.

Ron,Sure! I’ve visited with Dennis when he had a display at the January Scottsdale B-J Auctions many years ago. 
Dennis restored my F wheel in ‘01 - $1,000 cost back then by the previous owner of my F  Now you’re pushing $2,500 or so. Still looks fabulous / 85,000 miles later. He’s the most expensive of all the restorers. I suggest you visit the forward look archives site and read thru the mimm multitude of our listserver emails shared on this topic over the past 15+ years. Don’t expect a quick turnaround. Noel
