{Chrysler 300} Sail Cardboard & insulation 300K

Hi All,

Anyone have a good photo of the sail cardboard on a ’64 ?

Mine is in parts and I will perhaps make up two new ones. The cut out on mine looks to be missing some small part. See the photo. Let me know if you happen to have a photo of it in place with the headliner out so I can make out the outline or if someone has one that is 100% and has a photo of it.

I assume the cardboard was glued to the sail and the light gauze insulation is stuck to the cardboard.

I placed dynamat on the sail and therefore I could just glue some ¼ inch or ½ inch closed cell foam over the area in place of the cardboard for the sail.  What have other done in this area?

Thanks, James
