Hi all, I've already advised Drew how I replaced the disc brakes on my 1966 300 TNT convertible probably 35 years ago. I used the spindles and calipers from, I recall, a 1971 Plymouth. I discovered that the lower control arm was different. As I recall, the mounting at the spindle was different so I replaced both lower control arms. My mind is a bit fuzzy on this but what can you expect from an 86 year old 300 nut? I can say though that the brakes are much better and the turning radius is smaller. I still have the original 4 piston brakes, completely rebuilt, but will include them with the car when I eventually sell it. The spindles are a direct swap. And they use the modern single piston calipers cheap and easy to Find. Just find a donor car and take the whole System and swap to your 66. If you can find a 73 it's the best calipers are a lot Cheaper . Did many a swap on the 65-66 Chryslers. Bob Haag On Oct 15, 2024, at 1:45 PM, Drew W Carl <drew@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
