You’re probably thinking of Syl-Glide, which is an orange, silicon-based lubricant in a tube. Works great. Doesn’t get gummy like white lithium grease. Ron From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Behalf Of finsruskw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I have always used a product called "Sly Glide" Came in stick form in a little metal tube maybe 4" long and 3/4" dia. Kinda Elmer's stick school glue.... Has a cap on one end and a plug on the other, take of the cap and push the product out the other end. One stick will last a lifetime. From: "Keith Boonstra" <kboonstra.zeegroup@xxxxxxxxx> Google the performance characteristics of “Fluid Film”. It was reputedly developed for the defense department in World War II to protect ferrous surfaces. Many industries use this in a rattle can version for various protection and lubrication purposes. The magic trick of this material is that it does not evaporate because it does not contain VOCs. It is actually lanolin which is a byproduct of wool processing. One caution: do not use it as an aftershave lotion. It does have a bit of wet dog smell to it.
