RE: {Chrysler 300} 300D s/w

Everything you need to know in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rC76KaH4os

In Australia we got the wagon as a 300C.  I saw a Dodge version in the US and wondered why they did that???

There are a few still around for sale for low dollars but all seem to have high mileage.  I think anyone who has a SRT would be keeping it.

Much better looking than the Magnum. They fixed the look of the Magnum in 2008 and then dropped it soon after because of the recession. I remember with the 300C Touring came out in Europe and I lusted after one. Always wanted to make one but never got around to it.

Saw a few of them in Australia when I was there last year.

This is the 300C wagon I  built a few years ago from a 2005 Magnum R/T.  It was pretty easy to do.

I was even able to source the red, white, and blue circular 2007 trim pieces from the 50th anniversary commemorative edition to put on the sides.  I also put on 300 wheels in place of the Dodge wheels.

Guy,

Your recollection is correct. When traveling in central and southern Greece in Summer 2005, I saw a handful of these diesel Magnum wagons wearing their Chrysler 300 front clip. Looked pretty nice.

I was recently commenting about a vehicle I saw several years ago while attending the Michigan State Police Vehicle Performance Trials. It was in the parking lot area of Grattan Raceway in Grattan, Michigan. It was a black Dodge magnum and bore manufacturer license plates. Upon closer inspection, I noticed it had a modern Chrysler 300 front end and there was a diesel badge on the tailgate. Found out later it was probably a European market car.

My friend commented back that this reminded him of an article he saw many years ago. It was a 300D station wagon.

This fellow knows his letter cars, as he has owned several over the years.

Anyone out there have knowledge of a 300D wagon??
