Re: {Chrysler 300} seat spacers

I think someone made plates for C , possibly D that move seat travel back ?
I made several like that , also the C/D floor pan had pans embossed in them
related to that , and power  seat or not?
Sorry for memory fog about this , but it was an issue .
Someone in early club made parts … i bought two sets , but forget details

I made similar parts for an few F , seat too close to wheel even all the way back

Also related , some upholsters stuff front seat too high , using early Goers covers , beautiful upholstery job , but your legs don’t fit under steering wheel unless 110 lbs person
We need that number to guide work or you get a big surprise , especially if you are big too !

I find that the 62 to 76 A-B-E body MOPARS had used Seat Rail Mounting Pad Spacer Kits. Were these ever used on the C Bodies?

My 64 K didn't' have them, the rails just bolted through the floor, padding and carpet underneath.

With the power seat frames joined together by the pipe up front, I wonder if any distortion in their mounting may affect the performance of the front to rear slides.

I did have to polish out quite a bit of galling in the channels when refurbing / replacing the balls and lubricating the slide rails. Just wondering.
