{Chrysler 300} Ode to the 300 Club International

Hello 300’ly to all!
      I sit here outside our ground floor room at the hotel which we met for the Spring 2017 Chrysler 300 Club International hosted by Jamie Hyde and Bob Merritt. Overlooking the majestic Northern end of Lake Seneca in Geneva on the Lake , NY I am so thankful for what going to 300 Meets provides in our life of memories! It is so familiar and positive appreciating the natural beauty and great time had by all! I walked our 3 Yorkies this am by the site of our floating car show during the torrential rain that Saturday! We still had fun! Drove through Hershey last week en route to Lake George, NY and guess what? These were other 300 Meet venues! Pete Fitch said on one email years back the our Club is family! So true! I get a bit melancholic thinking that every meet is a family reunion and can never again be the same. John and Christy Lazenby told me at my first meet in Dayton, the Fall of 2003 that in this club you come to see the cars but stay for the people. So I want to thank all of you for the memories as Bob Hope would say ( remember his exhibit at the Air Force Museum in Dayton?)!! Thanks to all of you who host and support our Meets. No price can be assigned to the memories! So….Forwardlooking to the Omaha Meet and another unique 300 Family Reunion! Oh, by the way, we. Have an opportunity the Spring of 2026 for someone to host the Spring Meet! Rob Kern
