Re: {Chrysler 300} 14" wide white tires from Summit

I have a low mileage 300F that I do not drive cross country with or very long distances. Mine currently has bias ply tires on it that look very original and have performed well for me over the years. Nonetheless, my tires are now close to 8 years old so I am looking to replace them.

To keep the original look of the vehicle, I like it to sit very close to original height off the ground. Thus, I prefer the 235-75-14 size since that best matches the look of the original tires. I was looking on the Coker site and I found a set of H78-14 white walls that are very close in original appearance and ride height of the 300Fs. The height of the tires is 27.9"and the whitewall width is 2.5". Those tires are now currently in stock and each one is $250, so that is an attractive option for me.

For open road long distance driving these probably wouldn't be as good an alternative to radials but it works for me.

HEADS UP

Been trying to order new tires for the F and have been pretty much out of luck.

All six of the 225/70-14" wide whites listed from Summit Racing are "Not in Stock" w/an estimated ship date of Oct 3rd.

So much for new tires before the Omaha meet.....sigh!
