I got the ram parts for my 300K from the previous owner. Mix of the original headers for the car and a set of rams, carbs and linkage from a 300J. I'm missing a few bits though.
- Throttle return spring bracket that goes on carburetor base. I only got one.
- Throttle bellcrank on firewall.
- Rod from firewall to bellcrank on bottom of ram intake.
- Kickdown rod from firewall to transmission.
- Choke cable assembly.
The parts book indicates the parts above are ram specific but if someone knows better, let me know. Some of the parts listings aren't clear. I used the 1963 parts book as it's more complete for the ram stuff.
If you have these parts but don't want to sell them, if you could share pictures, I can go through my other parts and see if I can match them up. For instance the rod that goes from the firewall to the intake, what is the length of the two pieces? As for the bellcrank on the firewall, the 1960 one seems to be the same as the 4-bbl cars but they twist the end of it. I don't know if that is the same difference in 1963-64.
Also, on the club site, we already have the 300J bulletin that covers all the unique stuff about the car. Was there one for the 300K, in particular covering the ram stuff?
