RE: {Chrysler 300} PS Fluid

I've been using Dexron/Mercon fluid in power steering pumps across 9 different make cars for 25 years with no trouble. I hear folks say, gotta use special purpose power steering fluid, I see it for sale, but cannot bring myself to follow instructions.

Hello I had a question on the correct ps fluid for a 61 300g.  Is it dextron 3 transmission fluid or a different type of PS fluid?
