RE: {Chrysler 300} Headliner for 300D Coupe

The headliner that Dave sent me for my 300K showed up today. Dave said it was with the inventory he got from Gary.

When I rolled it out, I recognized the crayon part number on the back, Acme Auto Headliners in LA.

I still have their catalog and checked and the numbers match.

They are still in LA. Although their website seems to be focused on newer stuff one should see if they are still making the old stuff.

According to their catalog they had a “300D” conversion headliner in the event that someone wanted to do that rather than the cardboard type.

Thanks for the info. It’s a car I’m looking at. I don’t have pictures of the complete headliner, but will have asked for them. I believe it has the longitudinal strips for the headliner. If I do, I’m happy to make whatever patterns you need.

I have been considering looking into having a small batch of this material made. I have a sample of the squares. Is it possible to make a paper pattern of your original so I can get spacing of the lines and the squares.

This is the headliner in my D. I have not yet addressed how I will restore or replace my headliner but I did cover that base by obtaining the more common vinyl headliner from Gary. Here are pictures of what it looks like up close

This is the fragile center section. It look’s almost like speaker material.

The right side section with the wing for the C-pillar is shown below
